This modification of the heating-and-melting units is designed for the manufacture of flat or sheet-like materials such as composite plastic roofing.

The unit is equipped with a distribution head which is aimed at expanding the outcoming composite paste breadthwise and thus obtaining a sheet.

The composite sheet may then be cut into pieces of the demanded sizes and loaded into a press mould for direct compression moulding of plain large-surface articles or injected into a calender for further flattening  and fed into a track press to obtain shaped linear articles (e.g. roofing sheets).

Sheet width: adjustable, up to 1.5 m
Sheet thickness: adjustable, 5 – 10 mm

Formula of the composite: when forming polymer-sand composite into sheet the ratio of polymer in the compound should be not less than 30%.
